HEPU - So much more than „just“ pumps

For HEPU's 20th anniversary an interesting article was published in the trade publication "Steinbruch und Sandgrube (Stone Pit and Sand Pit)", edition 12/2008, about the products, the focus and the company's philosophy of HEPU Pumpen und Machinen GmbH (HEPU Pumps and Machines Ltd.).
We also like to thank Gabriela Schulz of the gsz-Fachpressebuero (gsz trade press office), Berlin, the author of this article. You can also download the original article as pdf-file here.

HEPU delivers pumps to Nigeria
HEPU GmbH and EMZ GmbH safeguard an important of the drinking water supply in Nigeria.
Courtesy of a supply rated very positively by the customer in 2002, (8 KZL motors 355 kW) for fresh water supply, the EMZ GmbH was again called upon--this time to deliver not only motors, but also pumps. In a joint project with the electric motor supplier EMZ GmbH in Recklinghausen, 2 submersible pumps, 110 kW and 250 kW, were delivered per piece for the fresh water supply in Nigeria. The delivery capacities are 880 m³/h and 925 m³/h, delivery head: 30 m, 57 m.
With this new technology of the submersible pump, the old pumps that were previously installed above ground were removed.
